About Me

Connor Mayers (they/them) is a sophmore student studying Secondary Education and English at the University of Maryland. They are incredibly passionate about literature, especially American short stories, plays, and novels written in the 20th century. Beyond literature they enjoy studying history, visual art, and popular music, and want to learn more about how all of those things have intersected in American culture. In Arts Scholars, Connor hopes to continue areas of art they are not as familiar with, such as performance art and music production, as well as to continue to improve while producing their own art.
